Poodle Hibiscus Masterclass

The Poodle Hibiscus (El Capitolio) are large, pendant like, orange to apricot coloured Hibiscus flowers which are centred by a narrow stalk tipped with a pompom of frilly petals creating a 'poodled' effect. 

In this tutorial you will learn:

1: How to wire petals, vein, give them the proper form and movement, and blend the dust colours in the correct manner.

2: Make the leaves, wire, vein and colour them properly. 

3: learn to glaze the petals and leaves.

4: Make realistic calyx and buds.
